Training staff in the workplace is as important as Health and Safety in the workplace, especially when the training is operating and changing wheels of a pedestal grinder, in the wrong hands this can be very dangerous, at the hands of trained staff it is a very useful piece of equipment in any Engineering workshop.
Within Copely Developments Engineering Department, Maintenance Engineer Sean Warren and Electrical Engineering Apprentice Matthew Goodwin undertook an in house training course provided by Leicester College and were successful in its completion.
Presenting their certificates is Operations Director Steve Walton, “Many congratulations Sean and Matthew, I am proud of your achievements within Copely and I do not doubt that there will be many more to come”.
