General Description
Codeflex Reinforced PVC water hose is a familiar sight in gardens throughout Europe and is manufactured to high quality standards using similar hose technology to that applied to our industrial hose sold to industry worldwide.
Codeflex hose is used by both domestic and professional gardeners and is guaranteed against faulty manufacture for a period of 12 years (standard quality) and 10 years (lightweight quality).
Codeflex water hose will not harden or split when rolled up and is suitable for use at temperatures from -15°C to +60°C. Made from high quality electrically non-conductive PVC containing anti-scuffing agents, this hose will remain flexible even at near freezing conditions, making it ideal for year round use.
Codeflex water hose is reinforced with high tensile polyester fibre giving maximum hoop strength with minimum longitudinal movement.
Codeflex Standard and Lightweight quality is available from stock in tint green / black colour, with a choice of attractive colours subject to minimum order quantities (details on application).
Braiding and Braid Angles
The angle of application of the reinforcing fibres, irrespective of the denier, is critical in the achievement of a ' balanced ' pressure hose. Copely manufacture hose with a target angle of 54° 44' (54.73°) being the optimum angle. Variations to the angles are generally for economic reasons, but major variations will have a marked effect on the performance and longevity of the product.
