General Description

Codeflex Suprene GP1 Air Hose is the culmination of Copely Developments' long term materials and hose technology development. This research has exploited the benefits of Rubber and P.V.C. to produce a Rubber P.V.C. Alloy (TPE). This innovative step has resulted in the introduction of Codeflex Suprene GP1 Air Hose.

This hose feels and looks like rubber without the associated negative aspects. Codeflex Suprene GP1 is fully flexible and is available from 6mm through to 25mm and exceeds ISO 5774 : 1980. The smaller diameters are black with yellow stripe and 13mm and above are in opaque yellow outer sheath.

Improved fire retardency. Tested to BS 2782 Part 1, Method 141A on sample cut to 6mm wide. GP1 range has a CO1 rating of 25% 02.

All hoses are printed with logo, product reference, ID dimension and working pressure.

Braiding and Braid Angles

The angle of application of the reinforcing fibres, irrespective of the denier, is critical in the achievement of a ' balanced ' pressure hose. Copely manufacture hose with a target angle of 54° 44' (54.73°) being the optimum angle. Variations to the angles are generally for economic reasons, but major variations will have a marked effect on the performance and longevity of the product.
