Aquaflex, Copely’s premium irrigation hose, has proved a winner with Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s Head Groundsman, Andy Fogarty.
Andy kindly agreed to put Aquaflex through its paces at YCCC’s iconic Headingley Carnegie ground and is delighted with its performance.
“I haven’t had any problems at all,” he commented. “Almost invariably, the hose we’ve used previously has suffered from kinking, loss of flexibility, or even bursting under certain conditions, but Aquaflex seems to outperform it in pretty much every way. I’m very impressed!”
Andy should certainly be the perfect judge. He’s been at Headingley for around fifteen years and is one of the country’s most respected groundsmen, winning the England and Wales Cricket Board’s prestigious Groundsman of the Year award in 2011.
Andy agreed to try out Aquaflex through his long-standing relationship with ACS Manufacturing and Supplies, who use Copely products extensively as components in their range of cricket covers.
