Preparations are in full swing here at Copely for Glee 2016 at NEC Birmingham, the exhibition is regarded as the UK’s leading garden retail event showcasing innovative and inspirational products.

Glee 2016 is set to be packed with lots of features not to be missed. There will be seminars from prominent industry speakers in the ‘Retail Inspiration Theatre’. This year the focus will be on ‘What the Garden Centre of 2020 will look like’, the other key focus area will include presentations on attracting the younger generation of shoppers to the ‘Garden Centre’.
David Denny from the HTA will be doing a session on ‘The Different Gardeners in the UK’, he will be looking at how gardening demographics will change in the future and assess the opportunities this will create. This seminar is a must for garden centres, landscapers and designers.
The GIMA Business Lounge is also well worth visiting, it will be a great space to arrange meetings. This area will also be used for the “Buyer Connect” speed networking sessions.
